Konstantinos (“Kosta”) Ligris, Esquire

Kosta is the founder of Ligris + Associates PC prior to which he was an associate attorney at Gilmartin, Magence & Ross PC, focusing on residential real estate matters. Mr. Ligris obtained his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Human Physiology from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health Sciences and his Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School. Kosta Ligris' real estate experience includes several years as a real estate broker with Coldwell-Banker Hunneman Real Estate (presently Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage), where he continues to teach Continuing Education classes to Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons for the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage training program and centers. Attorney Ligris is a licensed instructor by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers. Kosta is licensed to teach licensing and continuing education courses to Real Estate professionals throughout the Commonwealth. Mr. Ligris has also been a presenter at continuing education seminars for MCLE and is the co-author of "Practice Tips for Residential Real Estate Paralegals". He is frequently asked by real estate firms to come in and lecture sales agents and brokers on important and developing topics, on how to build their business and avoid getting into trouble in the field. Mr. Ligris’ practice concentrates on residential and commercial real estate transactions; he represents buyers, sellers, and developers in the acquisition, sale and development of residential and commercial real estate. Attorney Ligris is also an approved closing attorney for some of the country’s largest mortgage lenders and some of Massachusetts’ largest mortgage brokers. Kosta lives in Boston, Massachusetts and speaks fluent Greek and is proficient in both French and Italian. He is frequently involved in charitable fundraising and community projects and efforts for various important local, regional and national causes.

Richard F. Payne, Esquire

Rick is a Senior Associate and The Director of Conveyancing Operations at Ligris + Associates PC, prior to which he was an associate attorney at Gilmartin, Magence Camiel & Ross PC, focusing on residential real estate matters. Mr. Payne obtained his Bachelor of Sciences degree in Pre-Law/ Criminal Justice from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. Mr. Payne’s practice concentrates on residential real estate transactions; he represents buyers, sellers, and lenders. He also has extensive experience representing both landlords and tenants in housing/rental disputes. Rick currently resides in Needham, Massachusetts.

Stamatina ("Tammy") Macherides, Esquire

Ms. Macherides obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Classical Studies from Boston University’s College of Arts and Sciences and her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. Tammy represents buyers and sellers in residential real estate matters and conducts closings for residential lending matters. Tammy lives in Needham, Massachusetts and speaks fluent Greek and is proficient in Spanish.

Nik Ligris joined Ligris + Associates PC in 2008 as the Director of Business Development. Nik comes to the firm with over seven years of management, sales and underwriting experience at Countrywide Home Loans. Nik has unparalleled experience in sales and marketing and works closely with local lenders/banks, national mortgage companies, real estate professionals and developers to assist them in building their practices and business. Nik has an extensive network of contacts to assist firm partners in growing their business and facilitating their operations and sales efforts.

Don is a highly experienced attorney with a diverse background in residential and commercial real estate law, civil litigation, landlord and tenant law, and small business matters. In addition to representing mortgage lenders and buyers and sellers of real estate, Don has advised and represented small business clients in complex transactions, land acquisition and corporate structure. Prior to joining Ligris + Associates PC, Don was a successful operator of a solo practice in Lexington, MA. Don’s practice also includes representing developers of large scale subdivisions and condominium projects, golf course properties and retail operations. Don obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Salem State College summa cum laude and his Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

Elizabeth J. Grimes, Esquire

Elizabeth, prior to joining Ligris + Associates PC in 2010, was the owner/founder of The Law Office of Elizabeth J. Grimes, LLC, specializing in real estate law and residential real estate matters. Elizabeth is skilled and experienced in all aspects of real estate law and focuses on preparation and review of purchase and sale agreements, advice on negotiation and financing options, short sale negotiation, real estate closings for purchases and refinances, and other services related to real estate transactions. Elizabeth graduated from Villanova University in 1999, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with a double major of Political Science and Spanish, and earned her Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School in 2002. She is a current member of the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Massachusetts Women’s Council of Realtors and an affiliate member of the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association. Elizabeth often lectures for the Massachusetts Realty Guild and several Massachusetts real estate offices. Elizabeth resides in Needham, Massachusetts and is conversant and literate in verbal and written Spanish.


Lesley S. Rosenbloom, Esquire

Lesley Rosenbloom is an associate at Ligris + Associates PC. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Rosenbloom was an associate at the Law Office of Elizabeth J. Grimes, LLC for four years, a firm concentrating on residential real estate. A native of Newton, Attorney Rosenbloom received her Juris Doctor cum laude from Suffolk University Law School in 2004. She graduated the University of Vermont in 2001 and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. Attorney Rosenbloom’s primary focus and concentration is on transactional residential real estate matters, including representation of buyers, sellers and lenders. Lesley currently resides in the Boston area.
