Andrew is the Director of the Trusts & Estates Group and brings almost 20 years of legal experience to Ligris. Andrew advises clients in the areas of estate planning, business succession, wealth transfer, probate matters, and estate & trust administration. Andrew’s accessibility to his clients and his personal attention to their needs are the hallmarks of his practice. Andrew designs estate and succession plans for both taxable and non-taxable estates and understands that every person deserves to have an estate plan that is shaped by their own unique circumstances. Andrew is also an experienced transactional attorney and provides real estate and corporate services to his longtime clients.
Outside the Office
Andrew is an avid (sometimes addicted) tennis player. When not playing or watching tennis, he enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is constantly reading books, articles and blogs and particularly enjoys anything inspirational or motivational.

Before joining Ligris, Andrew practiced in mid-size law firms in Massachusetts where he represented a wide variety of clients in estate planning and real estate matters. Andrew also founded and managed The Law Offices of Andrew J. Kadets in Newton and Natick for eight years. Andrew grew up in Newton, Massachusetts and attended Boston University for both his undergraduate degree and law degree.

He served as an adjunct professor at Boston University School of Management and is a contributing author to the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education publication Drafting Commercial Documents. Andrew has also served as a guest speaker at several events at Boston University School of Law and has served as a judge on BUSL transactional law panels.
