Before joining the team at Ligris, and during law school, Emily worked at a local law firm where she aided in the research and drafting of documents for business litigation cases. While at Northeastern, Emily was a student ambassador for the law school. She worked with the admissions office to give tours, answer prospective and admitted student questions, and traveled to her alma mater in Florida to represent Northeastern at their annual law school fair.
Emily is committed to her clients, not only to a successful transaction but to explaining the ins and outs of the terms to which her clients are agreeing. She understands that most of her clients will only buy or sell a home a couple of times in their lives, and that this is both a momentous process and a complicated one. She feels it is her role to slow down when needed and be sure her clients are comfortable with the process.
