BOSTON, May 30, 2024 – Ligris + Associates PC, a Boston boutique law firm specializing in commercial and residential real estate transactions, continues to expand its capabilities with the addition of experienced real estate finance attorney, Tracy E. Hoeger. With 18 years of experience in matters related to default servicing under the terms of a loan agreement, complicated title issues affecting non-performing loans and on workouts and foreclosures, Hoeger will lead Ligris’ new practice group, Creditors’ Rights – Default Servicing.

Hoeger specializes in representing lenders, private equity firms, credit managers and other secured creditors, helping them navigate the complexities of loan delinquencies and defaults in mortgaged residential and commercial properties. At Ligris, she will serve as Director of the Creditors’ Rights – Default Servicing Group, to provide foreclosure and title expertise in conjunction with legal services across complementary areas such as real estate, business law, evictions and title curative and resolution. The expanded service offerings include loan modifications, debt restructurings, asset disposition strategies, foreclosures (judicially and non-judicially), debt disputes and more. The Creditors’ Rights Group is equipped to provide default-related legal services in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Hoeger and the new practice launch elevate Ligris’ position in the real estate industry, while augmenting its capabilities in creditors’ rights.
