The new practice is established with the addition of attorneys Brendan Durrigan and Shelby E. Ridley.

Ligris’ Immigration Law division will provide strategic and compassionate legal services to individuals, families, and employers navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law. The practice will focus on guiding clients through complex application and petition processes while helping them understand eligibility requirements, procedural obligations, and long-term goals.

Durrigan is a seasoned immigration attorney who brings a steady, thoughtful approach to complex and high-stakes legal matters. Over nearly two decades, he has helped individuals, families, and professionals navigate the U.S. immigration system and related legal challenges. Durrigan has represented clients before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, giving him strong experience in both courtroom advocacy and administrative proceedings.

Ridley is a dedicated attorney with experience spanning immigration, real estate, housing, and transactional matters. Through her academic training and hands-on legal experience, she has developed a strong foundation in client advocacy, legal research and writing, and case preparation.
