Background
Ariana’s foundation in family law is grounded in substantial, hands-on experience within the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court. As a Judicial Law Clerk, she worked closely with judges and court staff on a wide range of complex domestic relations matters. She brings particular depth to cases involving domestic violence and intimate partner abuse. Her early advocacy began with a college internship at a domestic violence shelter and continued through her work in a law school legal clinic representing survivors. Since then, Ariana has collaborated with experts in the field of intimate partner violence to present its lasting impact—on survivors and children—to the court. She integrates this knowledge into both her legal strategy and client support. Ariana’s practice reflects a broad and nuanced understanding of family law, encompassing financial matters, custody, and parenting disputes. Prior to joining Ligris, she practiced family law at Casner & Edwards, LLP in Boston.
