Ligris + Associates, P.C. Expands Family Law Division With Additions of Hon. Katherine A. Field, (Ret.) and Alyssa Johnson

BOSTON, September 19, 2025 – Ligris & Associates, P.C. announces the continued growth of its Family Law division with the additions of the Honorable Katherine A. Field, (Ret.) and attorney Alyssa Johnson.

Ligris’ Co-Managing Partner Christos Viores said, “We are thrilled to welcome Judge Field and Alyssa Johnson to our growing Family Law division. These additions reflect our commitment to building a team that combines legal excellence with compassion, ensuring we deliver the highest level of service to every client.”

Judge Field’s practice focuses on mediation, conciliation, and arbitration of family law matters. She is also available for case consultations. Judge Field was appointed to the bench in 2010 as an Associate Justice of the Probate and Family Court and sat primarily in Middlesex and Bristol Counties. In 2016, she was named First Justice of the Bristol Division of the Probate and Family Court, where she served until her retirement in 2025.

Johnson’s practice focuses on all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody and support, asset division, alimony, and prenuptial agreements. She practices with a client-centric approach, prioritizing clear communication and collaboration to ensure that her clients fully understand their options. Prior to joining Ligris, she managed a diverse portfolio of complex family law matters at another Boston law firm.

The Family Law division at Ligris launched earlier this year under the leadership of attorneys Michael (Mick) P. Judge and Evey M. Diaz. The addition of this practice area marked a pivotal moment for Ligris, amplifying its legacy of excellence while expanding its ability to serve clients navigating life’s most personal challenges.
